APPROVING PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES INTERLOCAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX
WHEREAS, there is a need for a Public Health Services Agreement in the Borough of
Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has determined that a renewal of Inter -local Services
Agreement is beneficial to the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body is desirous to enter into a new Inter -local Services
Contract with the County of Middlesex for a period of two (2) years, until December 31,
2017 as authorized pursuant to N.1.S.A. 40:8: -1, et seq.
NOW, THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
as follows:
1. The Public Health Services Inter -local Services Agreement with the County of
Middlesex for the period of January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2017 is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Inter -
local Services Agreement in a form approved by the Borough Law Director.
3. The Borough Clerk shall forward the executed agreement in the requested
number of counterparts to the Public Health Department, County of
Middlesex, 35 Kennedy Boulevard, East Brunswick, New Jersey 08816.

provided so I may request a formal Resolution from the Middlesex County Board of
Chosen Freeholders.
