3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held three hearings in person, and upheld all the citations.
The Commission reviewed one hearing requested by written declaration and
upheld the citation.
4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. ANALYSIS OF PARKING CONDITIONS ON WORKMAN AVENUE
BETWEEN CLOVERLY AVENUE AND TEMPLE CITY BOULEVARD
Staff presented the report to the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission.
The Commission reviewed the Workman Avenue Parking Study. Vice-
Chairman Redmond made a motion to direct staff to re-paint existing red
curb markings; to paint three-foot red curbs adjacent to driveways and
sidewalk access ramps; and to report back to the Commission in six months
on the parking conditions on Workman Avenue, seconded by Commissioner
Haddad and unanimously carried.
5. NEW BUSINESS
A. DISCUSSION REGARDING PARKING CONCERNS NEAR THE
INTERSECTION OF HERMOSA DRIVE AND LOMA AVENUE
Chairman Stratis made a motion to direct staff to conduct a traffic and
parking study at the intersection of Hermosa Avenue and Loma Avenue and
to report back in 60 days, seconded Commissioner Nimri and unanimously
carried.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
