AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
APPRAISAL SERVICES WITH MAURICE STACK -
VARIOUS TAX APPEAL MATTERS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized real estate
appraisal and consultation services in connection with various tax appeal matters;
and
WIIEREAS, Maurice J. Stack, If of Stack Coolalran & Stack, Hoboken, New
Jersey 07030, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said
services; and
WHEREAS, Maurice J. Stack, 11 has submitted a proposal to provide said
services at a total cost not to exceed $13,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certifies that fiords are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by lire Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal of Maurice J. Stack for the specialized appraisal
and consultation services in correction with various tax appeal
matters in the total amount not to exceed $13,300.00 is hereby
approved;
2. Amrexed hereto is a copy of said proposal;
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(1)(a) in accordance
with the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by
law.

Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
As per Resolution Number 07 -163.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR VARIOUS TAX APPEALS,
NOT TO EXCEED $13,300.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set forth in
Resolution.
