OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA
SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 25, 1988
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session at the hour of 9:00
2 AM on April 25, 1988 in the Board of Works Room in said City. Mr. Barden presided with Mr.Willis in attendance.
3 .Absent: Mr. Brown. The following business was had to-wit:

7 Promotion of Fire Department Training Officer

9 Chief Trotter recommended to the Board that W.Joseph Pierce be promoted to the position of Training Officer in
10 the Fire Department effective April 21, 1988. He said that Mr. Pierce had successfully gained the position
11 through the bid procedure.

13 Mr. Willis moved to approve the promotion of W.Joseph Pierce to Fire Department Training Officer, effective
14 April 21, 1988, seconded by Mr. Barden and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

18 Political Signs in Public Right of Way

20 Mr. Barden reminded the public that all political signs needed to be immediately removed from the public right of
21 way or they would be removed and citations issued in regards to the City's Litter Ordinance.

25 There being no further business,on a motion properly made and seconded,the meeting was adjourned.
