A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR THE MOAB ARTS AND
RECREATION CENTER
Whereas, the Moab City Council must approve all fees charged at the Moab Arts and Recreation
Center,
NOW THEREFORE, WE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB DO
HEREBY RESOLVE TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING FEE STRUCTURE FOR THE
MOAB ARTS AND RECREATION CENTER
Moab Arts and Recreation Center Rental Fees
1 Booking fee rentals require a non-refundable booking fee, paid in advance $10 for
ongoing rentals, $15 for special events
2 Room rates are as follows Everything is subject to availability, with priority given to events
and classes
Downstairs rooms
Storage -downstairs
Upstairs rooms (Dance, Stage, Kitchen, Foyer)
Whole facility
Local small meetings
Equipment (VCR/TV, stage lights, screen,
stereo & window black outs)
Furniture (chairs, tables)
Furniture Rental
Labor set up, breakdown, cleanup, etc
$5 per hour per room
$15 per day
$12 per hour per room
$48/hour up to $375/day
No Charge, though encouraged to make
a donation as individual or group
$15/day
No charge unless taken offsite
$1/day chairs, $5/day tables
$20/hour/staffperson
3 Cleanup fees and damage deposits For regular rentals there is no cleanup fee or damage
deposit, however, renters must leave rooms In at least as good condition as they found them
Any individual or organization that does not comply with this will be charged a minimum $20
cleaning charge billed at $20/hour/staffperson
4 Rentals with alcohol usage Renters must complete a separate alcohol event agreement In
addition to room rentals fees, alcohol rentals must pay $15 per hour during the portion of the
event that alcohol will be served, and make a $150 cleaning/damage deposit The deposit will
be refunded If there Is no damage and no cleaning Is needed
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage Passed and adopted by action
of the governing body of the City of Moab in open session this l2thday of,eyugust, 2003
