The Planning Commission upheld a determination made by staff that a proposed porch located at 6147 lvar Avenue did not qualify for the front porch incentive. The proposed porch did not meet the incentive pursuant to Section 9-1D-5 of the Temple City Municipal Code. The property is designated Single Family Residential (R-1), by the City's General Plan. B. The Planning Commission continued a request to subdivide a commercial building located at 9868 Las Tunas Drive. The property is designated East Commercial (EC) in the Downtown Specific Plan of the City's General Plan. C. COMMUNICATIONS Youth Committee Member Cynthia Yong announced that the next scheduled meeting of the Youth Committee is July 3, 2014. D. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS-None E. UPDATE FROM THE PLANNING MANAGER Planning Manager Starns introduced Community Development Director Forbes to the Planning Commission. He announced that the next Planning Commission Meeting will be held July 22, 2014. Agendized items include reorganization of the Planning Commission, a proposed cellular site on Rosemead Boulevard and a request to subdivide a commercial site into four units. Lastly, he announced that permits have been issued for the Linden Walk project. F. ADJOURNMENT The Planning Commission meeting was adjourned at 8:00p.m. CONCLUSION: The City Council is requested to receive and file this report. FISCAL IMPACT: This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
