A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT AMONG THE UTAH
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, GRAND COUNTY AND THE CITY OF MOAB
Whereas, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), Grand County (County) and the City
of Moab (City) desire to have a traffic signal installed at the intersection of Highway 191 and
400 East, and
Whereas, a portion of the signal project involves the realignment of Bittle Lane, and
Whereas, the City and the County have had discussions about paying for the Bittle Lane portion
of the signal project, and
Whereas, the attached Cooperative Agreement provides for the funding of the project by the
parties
NOW THEREFORE, WE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB DO
HEREBY RESOLVE TO APPROVE THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT IN
SUBSTANTIALLY THE FORM SUBMITTED TO THIS MEETING OF THE MOAB CITY
COUNCIL
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage
Passed and adopted by action of the governing body of the City of Moab in open session
this 22nd day of July, 2003
