A RESOLUTION relating to adoption of the City's Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Citizen Participation Plan;
providing for severability; and providing an effective date.
WHEREAS, The City of Crestview, Florida receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program as an
Entitlement Community, is subject to the regulations set out in the Code of Federal Regulations; and
WHEREAS, as an Entitlement Community, the City of Crestview, Florida is required to comply with
all federal regulations with respect to citizen participation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Citizen Participation Plan attached hereto.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA, that
SECTION 1
In accordance with 24 CFR Part 91.105(a), the City of Crestview hereby adopts the Citizen
Participation Plan, a copy of which is attached hereto in accordance with Section 104(a)(3) of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974.
SECTION 2
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.
ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the Crestview City Council this 8th day of June, 2020.
