BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JANUARY 2, 1986
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in
2 regular session January 2, 1986 at the hour of 9:00 A.M. in the Municipal Building
III 3 in said City. Ms. Maness presided with Mr. Brown in attendance. Ms. Silberstein
4 was absent. The following business was had to wit:

6 UNSAFE BUILDING HEARING - 1215 NORTH A STREET

• 8 Ms. Maness called the Unsafe Building Hearing on property located at 1215 North
9 A Street to order.

11 Mr. Barden informed the Board that no representative was able to be in attendance
12 from the Planning DepaLlment and that although the hearing had been legally
13 advertised to notify the property owner, the Board could continue the matter
14 to a specific time and date and another public notice would not have to be
15 advertised.

17 Ms. Maness requested anyone present representing the unsafe premises to speak
18 in favor of or in opposition to the Order on the property.

20 There being no comment, Mr. Brown moved to continue the unsafe building hearing
21 on property located at 1215 North A Street to January 9, 1986 at 9:00 A.M. , seconded
22 by Ms. Maness and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

24 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF DECEMBER 26, 1985

26 Mr. Brown moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared, seconded
27 by Ms. Maness and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

29 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT

31 Mr. Brown moved to approve claims in the amount of 539,896.54 for payment, seconded
32 by Ms. Maness and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

34 ADJOURNMENT

36 There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed the
37 meeting was adjourned.
