A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA,
SUPPORTING THE HONORABLE RON DESANTIS, GOVERNOR OF
THE STATE OF FLORIDA FOR THE EFFORTS OF THE OFFICE
OF THE GOVERNOR DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
WHEREAS, Governor DeSantis has been an advocate for the Citizens of Florida during the Covid-19
Pandemic; and
WHEREAS, Governor DeSantis has made the at risk population of the State of Florida a priority in receiving
the Covid-19 Vaccines;
WHEREAS, Governor DeSantis has maintained a business -friendly approach to the Covid-19 Pandemic; and
WHEREAS, The City of Crestview City Council recognizes that the actions taken by Governor DeSantis
during the Pandemic have served to protect the citizens of Florida while ensuring the stability of the state's
economy;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Crestview, Florida that:
The City Council of the City of Crestview, Florida, supports the efforts of Governor Ron DeSantis to protect the
citizens of Florida during the COVID -19 Pandemic, and urges the governor to continue his judicious approach
to evaluating the risks to our citizens, protecting the strength of our economy, caring for those at in need, and
supporting the authority local government.
THIS RESOLUTION WILL TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY UPON ADOPTION.
