HomeMy Public PortalAbout12-21-1984 - Special Session o2� BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, DECEMBER 21, 1984 1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana 2 met in special session December 21, 1984 at the hour of 9:00 A.M. in the 3 Municipal Building in said City. Ms. Maness presided with Ms. Silberstein 4 in attendance. Mr. Brown was absent. The following business was_had :to-wit: . 5 6 9:00 A.M. Bid Opening for Bulk Fuels for 1985 7 8 Purchasing Director, Rita Stout requested all bids be turned in for bulk 9 fuels for 1985. 10 11 Having received all bids, Ms. Silberstein moved to close the bidding, 12 seconded by Ms. Maness and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 13 14 The Clerk presented the Proof of Publication and Ms. Silberstein moved 15 to accept and file the Proof of Publication, seconded by Ms. Maness and 16 on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 17 18 Ms. Stout opened the bid of Marshall Herdrich. The bid was on the correct 19 form and accompanied by a 10% bid bond. 20 21 The bid of Petroleum Traders Corporation was opened and was on the correct 22 form. A 10% bid bond accompanied the bid. 23 24 The bid of Warfield Oil was opened and was on the correct form. It was 25 accompanied with a 10% bid bond. 26 27 The bid of Wayne County Farm Bureau was opened and was on correct form. 28 A bid bond in the amount of 10% accompanied the bid. 29 30 Ms. Stout gave the following bids for gasoline as received: 31 32 Farm Bureau (Regular Gas) Transport .722 33 Tankwagon .762 • 34 35 (Unleaded) Transport .74 36 Tankwagon .787 37 38 Petroleum Traders Corp. 39 (Regular Gas) Transport .742 40 41 (Unleaded) Transport .772 42 43 Warfield (Regular Gas) Transport . .709 44 Tankwagon .777 45 46 (Unleaded) Transport .749 47 Tankwagon .817 48 49 Marshall Herdrich 50 (Regular Gas) Transport .75 51 Tankwagon .80 52 53 (Unleaded) Transport .78 54 Tankwagon .83 55 56 Ms. Silberstein moved to refer the bids to Ms. Stout for evaluation, tabulation 57 and recommendation, seconded by Ms. Maness and on unanimous voice vote 58 the motion was carried. 59 60 ADJOURNMENT 61 62 There being no further business on a motion duly made seconded and passed 63 the meeting was adjourned. 64 65 Cathy.
