HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 10/5/1970The Wellsburg Town Council met in special session on September 28 with all councilmen present. Mayor Ross presided at the meeting. David J. Abels, chairman of the Grundy County Sanitary Landfill Commission, met with the council to clarify the rules, regulations, and resolution concerning the landfill project. On a motion by Huisman, seconded by Eckhoff, the council adopted the resolution approving t'ne agreement for the Grundy County Sanitary Landfill Project. Roll call of votes was as follows: Ayes: Hippen, Van Deest, Huisman, Claassen, Eckhoff Nays: None Absent: None Motion carried. On a motion by Claassen, seconded by Hippen, the agreement be- tween the Town. of Wellsburg and the Grundy County Sanitary Landfill Commission was adopted. Roll call of votes was as follows: Ayes: Huisman, Claassen, Hippen, Van Deest, Eckhoff Nays: None Absent: None Motion carried.
