Indian, met 2 in regular session October 20, 1983 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal 3 Building in said City. Mr. Meredith presided with Mr. Cordell and Mr. Webb 4 present. The following business was had, to-wit : 5 6 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 13, 1983 7 8 Mr. Cordell moved to approve the minutes of October- 13., 1983 as prepared, 9 seconded by Mr. Webb and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 111 10 11 ADVERTISE FOR-BIDS FOR EXPANSION OF N. W: 11TH STREET PROJECT -- Steve Esarey- 12 - 13 Acting City Engineer Steve Esarey stated the bids for N. W.. -llth Street came 14 in low and there were substantial funds -left over .from the. State grant-. The 15 State allowed funds to remain to expand this project in .the northwest industrial 16 park. This will be expanded to include the reconstruction of N. .W. _ "T", re-. 17 paving of Sheridan Street and a storm- sewer on Rich- Road. The plans have been 18 reviewed and he requested Board acceptance. • 19 20 Mr. Webb-moved for the approval of plans and specifications of the reconstruc- 21 tion of N. W... "T", the drainage on Rich- Road and the maintenance work..on 22 Sheridan Street between Williamsburg Pike and N. W., llth, seconded by Mr. Cordell 23 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 24 - - 25 - The proposed- advertisement-date'would be October 2"1, 24 and 31 with the opening 26 November 3 .at 10:00 a.m. City Attorney Ed Anderson finds this in order. Mr. 27 Meredith set November 3, 1983 at 10:00 a.m. to receive bids on this project. 28 29 CURB CUT REQUEST- FROM FREDRICK TREADWAY, MIKAN DRIVE - Steve Esarey 30 31 Acting City Engineer Steve Esarey presented a driveway petition for Fredrick 32 Treadway, Mikan Drive for a new residence. The request has approval of II33 Planning, Traffic and Engineering Departments, 34 35 Mr. Webb .moved for. approval of the subject driveway. petition, seconded by 36 Mr. Cordell and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 37 38 POLICE RESIGNATION - Chief Chris 39 40 Police Chief Charles Chris presented a-letter recommending acceptance of the 41 resignation from the Richmond Police Department of Probationary Patrolman 42 Donald G.
