I The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,, met in
;2 _.' regular session September 22, 1983 at the hour of "9:00 a.m. in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. . Mr. Webb .presided with Mr. Cordell present. Mr.
4 Meredith was out o.f tnwn. The following business was had, to-wit :

6 APPROVAL OF .MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 15, 1983

111 8 Mr. Cordell moved to approve the minutes of September 15, 1983 as prepared,
9 seconded-by Mr. Webb and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

11 REQUEST BY ROSE FESTIVAL- -COMMITTEE TO BLOCK 7TH STREET WITHDRAWN . -,--

13 Mr. Webb presented the following letter rece.ived. from Loren Vance, Executive
14 Director of the Rose Festival, which was read by .the Deputy Clerk:

16 The .Richmond' Area Rose Festival, -Inc. would like to withdraw
17 . its request for the closing of North and South 7th Street
18 during the week of Rose Festival. . -

20 Alternative locations will be considered at a later date. •

22 "NO PARKING" SIGNS ON N. W. 11TH FROM "L" TO RICH ROAD - Capt. Wogoman

24 Capt. Dan Wogoman requested the Board establish "No Parking" zones plus the •
25 installation of "No Parking Anytime" signs on the east and west sides of
, 26 N. W. llth from the intersection of N. W. llth & "L" to, the intersection of
27 N. W. llth and Rich Road.

29 Mr. Cordell moved that' "No Parking" signs be placed and '"No Parking" be
30 established on N. W. 11th from "L" to Rich Road, seconded by Mr. Webb and
31 - on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
