A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
(Funding the Greeneastle/Putnam County Development Center)
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc. continues to
play a key role in attracting new business and industry, and retaining and assisting business
and industry; and
WHEREAS, a matching fund grant of $30,000 from the interest earned on the
Industrial Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam County Development
Center for 2000, and the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center shall raise an
equivalent sum from other sources.
WHEREAS, any expenditures from the Industrial Development Fund must be
approved in writing by a majority of the members of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory
Commission for Industrial Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that:
40 The Greencastle Common Council authorizes the expenditure of $30,000.00 per
annum- $15,000.00 payable in October and the remainder payable in December - for the
2000 year in matching funds from the Industrial Development Fund, contingent upon
approval of the Greencastle Citizens Adviso��ry ��C,,{{o�mnission for Industrial Development.
