AUTHORIZING DONATION OF SCRAP WOOD FROM HURRICANE SANDY
TO THE CARTERET CRAFTSMAN'S CLUB
WHEREAS, the Borough has agreed to donate old scrap wood, approximately 10 to 15
boards, which were salvaged from the redecking of the pier after Hurricane Sandy to the
Carteret Craftsman's Club to build their Memorial Day float; and
WHEREAS, by donating Uus wood, the Borough and the Borough Public Works
Department, make no expressed or implied warranty and it is understood that the above
mentioned wood is scrap.bas no value; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey that the donation of scrap wood to the Carteret
Craftsman's Club is hereby authorized.
Adopted this 12 day of May, 2016
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 13, 2016.
