Re: Ordinance 22-2022 Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Grant
Submission
I am attaching for your review Ordinance 22-2022 An Appropriation Ordinance Authorizing the
Submittal, Acceptance, and Appropriation of a Grant from the Indiana Department of
Transportation.
INODT has received funding from the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) to support the
operating budget for rural and small transit systems. Rose View Transit is eligible for the 5311
Operating Grant for CY2023.
Below is a summary of the request we would like to submit to INDOT.
5311 Operating Estimated Revenue
Federal: $623,020 Fare Box: $205,000
State: $375,531 Ads: $ 12,000
Local: $724,400 Local: $ 00000
Total: $1,722,951 Total: $217,000
In addition to the estimated revenue, we are requesting that the City provide a local match in an
amount not to exceed $507,400 for Operating expenses, from local Income Tax (LIT) Funds.
