CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,' APRIL 15, 1982
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the. City of Richmond, Indiana, met
2 in regular session April 15, 1982' at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. Mr. Webb presided with Mr. Cordell present. Mr.
4 Meredith was absent. The following business was had, to-wit:

6 APPROVAL. OF MINUTES OF. APRIL 8,. 1982

8 Mr. Cordell moved the minutes of the previous meeting be approved and placed
9 on file as prepared, seconded by Mr.. Webb and on unanimous voice vote the
10 motion was- carried.

14 Mr. Webb recessed .the meeting to await the arrival of Mr. Norris, who was
15 delayed enroute. - -

19 The meeting was reconvened at 9:30 upon the arrival of Mr. Norris.

21 REQUEST TO PAINT HOUSE NUMBERS ON CURBS - Jeff Norris -
22 .. -
23 Jeffrey Norris, Lebanon, Indiana, presented his plan..to paint house numbers
24 on curbs in the City. He approaches the home owners on a door-to-door basis
25 at which time he is paid $5.00. He and his wife return at- a: later date to
26 ' do the -stenciling of numbers.

28 Mr. Cordell expressed .reservations and would like to_check with some of the
29 ' other towns-which have been completed 'and also check with the City Attorney
30 regarding City liability. -

32 Mt.. -Cordell moved to table the request until the next Board meeting and to
33 notify Mr. Norris at that time, seconded by Mr. Webb and on unanimous voice
34 vote the motion -was carried.
