BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, MARCH 18, 1982
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
2 in regular session March 18, 1982 at the hour. of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. Mr. Meredith presided with Mr. Cordell and Mr. Webb
4 present. The following business was had, to-wit:

6 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MARCH 11, 1982

8 Mr. Webb moved the minutes be approved and placed on file as prepared,
9 seconded by Mr. Cordell and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

11 REQUEST TO INSTALL AWNING AT 111 SOUTH 5TH STREET - Charles Roberts

13 Building Commissioner Charles Roberts presented a request from Ms. Faye _ Norris
14 to install a. 5'x20'x8' awning in_front of her residence at 111 South 5th Street.
15 Discussion was held concerning water draining across the sidewalk and City
16 Attorney Ed Anderson read the City code concerning drainage.

18 Mr. Webb moved that the request to install an awning .at 111 South 5th Street
19 be approved subject to the disposal of the storm water in accordance with
20 the City code as set out in paragraph 96.23, seconded by Mr. Cordell and on
21 unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
