Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, George Carey, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , Tom Turcketta , and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant ) , Patricia Busch was absent . CONTINUED APPLICATIONS H -&21-163 Brian and Mary Daggett, 732 Satucket Road, Map 24 Lot 66 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that per a site visit, an addition was put on this home that was not included as part of the original application . ■ Committee members reviewed the updated plans provided by E2 Solar . ■ Jeff Schwartz and Ian Tallmadge of E2 Solar represented the homeowners . ■ The committee felt that the solar panels being proposed met the minimal visual impact on the surrounding area . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS S-7- 21487 Danielle Panzica, 2671 Main Street, Map .89 Lot 20 Sign ■ Danielle Panzica was present and reviewed the plans for the sign with the committee . ■ Sign will be wood, and letters will be painted on the sign . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor. I H -7-21488 I Daniel Tripp and Melissa Brennan, 42 Center Street, Map 49 Lot 131. Deck • Homeowner, Daniel Tripp represented himself at the meeting and reviewed the plans with the committee . ■ Skirtboard will be white Azek . ■ Decking and bench will be grey Azek . f ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as amended . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. r i i Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of July 12, 2021 Meeting H -7-21- 189 John and Suzanne Stendahl, 51 Mates Way, Map 78 Lot 23 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Mike Tanghe with BlueSel Solar represented the homeowners . ■ Installation of 21 solar panels on the home . ■ No panels will be placed on garage . ■ Committee feels that the installation of these panels will have minimal visual impact on the surrounding area : ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Tom Turcketta seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -7- 21- 186 Jennie McLaughlin, 489 Tubman Road, Map 55 Lot 65 Addition ■ Steve Poskanzer of Seaview Properties, and homeowner Jennie McLaughlin were present at the meeting . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ No mulled windows . ■ All windows will be replaced in the home and will be black with applied grills . ■ Windows will have sills . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H-7-21- 192 Glah Miller, LLC, 2100 Main Street, Map -67 Lot 84 Shed ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that this was originally presented as an Exemption , however he asked the applicant to submit a Certificate of Appropriateness as it did not meet the criteria for an Exempt item . ■ Nick Powers who is a tenant of the property was present at the meeting and discussed the application with the committee . ■ David Miller property manager, was also present . ■ Carol Appleton moved to continue to the August 9, 2021 meeting pending a site visit . George Carey seconded . ■ Vote 3 - 2 -0 S- 7-21- 195 June Noll, 139 Alden Drive, Map 55 Lot 40 Sign ■ June Noll represented herself and reviewed the sign application with the committee . ■ Sign will be wood with wrought iron hanger . ■ Sign will be painted green with white applied lettering in a matte finish . ■ Lettering font size will be two ( 2 ) inches . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ Vote 4- 1-0 2 Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of July 12, 2021 Meeting H -7-21496 Gordana Vlahovic, 143 Ellis Landing Road, Map 90 Lot 151 Addition, Deck and Exterior Renovations ■ Patrick Malloy, Architect represented the homeowners . ■ Chairman Trabullsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Rakes on the gables will be 18" and will match what is on the house currently . _ ■ North elevation has two windows that will be fixed casement windows . ■ Widows walk does not currently exist now and will have stainless steel cables and mahogany posts . ■ Outdoor shower will be cedar. ■ Committee asked for additional clarification on ; o Widows Walk o Demolition ■ Tom Turcketta moved to continue to the August 9, 2021 meeting pending a site visit . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. 3
