Pursuant to Governor Baker' s March 12, 2020, Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law and his
March 15 and March 23 , 2020, Orders imposing strict limits on the number of people that may gather in one place, this
meeting will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible . Specific information and the general
guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend
this meeting may be found on the Town ' s website at www . brewster- ma . gov . For this meeting, members of the public
who wish to listen to the audio broadcast may do so via the Town of Brewster website at http : // Iivestream . brewster-
ma .gov or on Channel 18 . No in - person attendance of members of the public will be permitted , but every effort will be
made to ensure the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time via technological means . The Town has
established specific email addresses for each board and committee that will be meeting remotely so that residents can
send their comments in writing either before or during the meeting . For this meeting, please send contact
pa`nderson@brewster-ma .Boy . In the event we are unable to live broadcast these meetings, despite best efforts, we will
post on the Town website an audio recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as

1 . Call to Order : 11 ; 07 AM
• Those present : Cynthia Baran , Sue Brown , Lem Skidmore, Liaison Mary Chaffee ,
Sherry Theuret, Administrative Supervisor and Paul Anderson , Superintendent ,
2 . Declaration of a Quorum : Read by Commissioner Baran
3 . Meeting Participation Statement : Read by Commissioner Baran
4 . Discussion regarding current water restriction status .
• Still at mild drought
• Consistent with other towns to water on odd and even days
• Signage throughout the town and on website
5 . Discussion regarding hydration stations status .
• Superintendent would like the immediate approval and funding of three hydration
stations
a . Leave decision to town administrator and selectboard for the locations .
b . Liaison Chaffee —
i . 24 possible locations — decisions based on ,
1 . Ease of access, traffic, groups etc.
2 . 7 locations decided by the select board
3 . 2 locations may be re - prioritized
ii . Motion by Commissioner Brown to approve the funding for 3 locations
of hydrations stations, 2nd by Commissioner Skidmore

• OSHA Certification for Construction and General Industry
a . Safe environment for the staff
• Completed CCR report — Online, Access Television and on noted on billing statements
• Hydraulic Study Complete
a . Water main abandonment due to sea rise in the future
b . Risk an Resilience Study — Federal Mandate
I . Critical infrastructure
ii . Certificate submitted for certification
c . Both studies will be used to update Emergency Response Plan
i . Presentation will be scheduled with the town administrator to update
master plan with the town .

• Meter reading almost complete

• Met with Lisa Vitale to discuss reconciliation and reporting with new Vadar program .
a . Water Department & Town Hall to have the same verbiage on billing
statements
• New sign off procedures
a . Bills to be sent out for approval on Tuesday
b . Water Commissioners to sign off on all commitments and abatements at the
end of the month

i . Letters were not sent out June 1st due to data freeze and new billing
software .
