BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 19, 1981
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana
2 met in regular session February 19, 1981 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in
3 the Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Meredith presided with Mr.
4 Anderson and Mr. Webb present. The following business was had, to-wit:

6 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 12, 1981

8 Mr. Webb moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared,
9 seconded by Mr. Anderson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

11 REQUEST FINAL APPROVAL OF PARK RIDGE SUBDIVISION EXTENSION

13 Mr. Tom Winemiller presented a plat for nineteen (19) lots in the area of
14 South 48th Street, which will be the end of this project, which was
15 started four (4) years ago. This will be presented to the Plan Commission
16 at their next meeting. A copy of a surety bond from First National Bank
17 was presented.

19 Mr. Anderson moved to approve the surety, seconded by Mr. Webb and on
20 unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

22 POSSIBLE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SOUTH 9TH STREET

' 24 Traffic Capt. Dan Wogoman made the Board aware of a problem of a possible
25 cave-in on South 9th in front of the Dairy Queen. If it should become
26 necessary, traffic will be routed on South "L" to 13th to "J" and back
27 to 9th until the problem can be corrected.
