CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 13, 1980
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
2 in regular session November 13, 1980 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. Mr. Anderson presided with Mr. Webb present. Mr.
4 Meredith was in the hospital. The following business was had, -to-wit:

6 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 6, 1980

8 Mr. Webb moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared,
9 seconded by Mr. Anderson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

11 SET HEARING DATE FOR UNSAFE BUILDING - 1900 and 1902 NORTH "E" STREET
12
13 Mr. Anderson set December 4 at 10:00 a.m. for the hearing for W. Nelson and
14 Alberta Burton.

16 POLICE DEPARTMENT - Hiring

18 Major Ron Chestnut read a recommendation from Chief Charles Chris for hiring
19 Kenneth Lester for the position of Probationary Police Officer effective
20 November 17, 1980.

22 Mr. Webb moved the recommendation be approved, seconded by Mr. Anderson
23 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

25 SET DATE FOR HEARING FOR CABLE TV FRANCHISE

27 Mr. Anderson stated this hearing will be held as required by statute for
28 consideration of granting a franchise to Clearview Cable TV. He noted the
29 present franchise has two (2) years to go but Cable is asking for consideration
30 at this time as they are expanding their operations into surrounding communities.
31 He set December 11, 1980 at 10:00 a.m. for this hearing.
