PART V. OPTIONAL INFORMATION
This entire Part is optional for all applicants. Applicants are encouraged, but not required, to provide any
additional relevant information regarding the project that was not covered elsewhere on this form or on any
of the other materials submitted with the application.
We are using the "buttery" - a typical Bermudan detail - as our
Entry. It's stepped and ornamented roof top will be an exciting
accent to the typical Bermuda cottage. (See attached photos).
Tho dormers are seldom used in the Bermuda context, we have
added them over the Garage to keep the lower eave line consistent
and utilize an otherwise unusable space.

RE: Residence on Polo Drive in Gulf Stream, Florida (for Mr. and Mrs. Robert Z e 1 1 e )
Dear David:
I have reviewed the drainage requirements for this site as detailed in the Instruction Manual for the
Application for Development Approval Form ADA.592. The drainage design shown on the
preliminary plan prepared by my office will meet the those requirements. Specifically, the runoff
from the first one inch of rainfall will be retained on site. Any additional runoff from the site for
all stone return frequencies up to and including the twenty -four hour /three year storm should not
impact the any offsite properties.
Prior to completion of the final design drawings, infiltration or percolation test should be performed
so that the stonnwater management system can be more precisely analyzed. Please call if you have
any questions or if you need additional data.
Sincerely,
Ada

In answer to your questions:
1. At curb cuts to the parking area, we can go up
or down. Let's try the rise of three inches (3 ")
that way we won't get street water into our parking
area.
2. There is to be no dock now. The Zelles said they'd
never have a boat and it only offers others a means
to access their property.
3. The Buttery has a 12/12 pitch shown on the Roof
Plan; however, this may change again, but it won't
have over a 12/12 pitch in any case.
4. There is no wall contemplated. However, I will
include a detail incase they ever want to put one
in.
5. Calculations for the impervious area are shown in
the Table on the Plot Plan /Floor Plan sheet. The
impervious area in front is 46% of front yard area
(6,640 square feet total - 3,094 square feet paved
equals 46%). The correct package of drawings was
sent to you August 29th - sorry for the mix -up.
Look forward to meeting with you toward the end of September.
