HomeMy Public PortalAbout04-12-1979 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APRIL 12, 1979 1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met 2 in regular session April 12, 1979 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal 3 Building of said City. Mr. Meredith presided with Mr. Anderson and Mr. 4 Webb present. The following business was had, to-wit: 5 6 Mr. Webb moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared, 7 seconded by Mr. Anderson and on unanimous voice vote, the motion was carried. 8 9 Mr. Lewis Klus, representing REACT, appeared for clarification of the date 10 for the Heart Fund Bucket Brigade. Mr. Klus had presented the date of May 11 13 and it should have been June 9. City Attorney Ed Anderson reviewed the 12 agreement noting location for this project and safety restrictions. Mr. 13 Anderson moved to approve the Wayne County Heart Fund Association Radiothon 14 Bucket Brigade by REACT as outlined in the Memorandum Agreement and further 15 canceling any and all past commitments made or recorded, seconded by Mr. 16 Webb and on unanimous voice vote, the motion was carried. 17 18 Engineer Dale Jacobs appeared representing a curb cut request at 2300 Chester 19 Blvd. Mr. Jacobs' request is subject to submitting a revised agreement to 20 cover footage. This is for a subdivision and the cut will become a part of 21 a dedicated street. This cut has approval of Engineering, Traffic, and Plan 22 Departments. Mr. Webb moved for approval of the curb cut at 2300 Chester 23 Blvd. for an office park subject to an acceptable agreement from Mr. Jaffee 24 to allow construction of a curb radius twenty-five (25) feet south of the north 25 property line of Mr. Jaffee; also, subject to State Highway approval, 26 seconded by Mr. Anderson and on unanimous voice vote, the motion was carried. 27 28 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the III 29 meeting was adjourned. 30 31 32 33 Donald E.
