50 the AdmivwsttratLon pursue some solutions. He suggested the Board meet with
51 the Police Ch.ieS .to see iS any o4 these suggested solutions can be enSonced
52 and ttiy to assure the saSety oS everyone.

60 Mn.. Anderson moved to accept the recommendation oS ChieS Chaplets Chtws that
61 Lawrence Sche t, Gnegony Pipes and Fnedericfz Hof Lngen be appointed Probationary
62 Pattwlmen oS the Richmond Police Deparrtment, seconded by Mn.. Webb and on unan.i-
63 mous voice vote the motion was carried. The Ch.ieS requested Mn.. Schele's
64 appointment be eSSective as oS November 21, 1977 and Messrs. Pipes' and Hal-
65 s,ingen's appointments eSSective December. 5, 1977.

67 Mt. Andensan moved the recommendation oS Fire Ch.LeS Mu LLn to appoint James
68 Alexander to the Fite Department as a probationary /S,vr.e{.fighter, eSSective
69 November 19, 1977 be accepted, seconded by Mn.. Webb and on unanimous voice
