Staff Recommendation: A motion to approve based on a finding that the addition is
consistent with applicable review standards, with the following condition:
1. A professional engineer shall sign that the site drainage and directional flow has not been
altered because of the building addition.
Basis for Recommendation:
The addition will match the existing home in style, materials, colors, and is consistent with
both the area -wide standards and Gulf Stream Bermuda Style architectural guidelines. The
proposal incorporates many "preferred features" such as muttons, shutters, one story height,
rectilinear lines, and white tile roof material.

Construction Traffic Management Plan
Pursuant to Town Commission Policy, proposed plans for the orderly management of
construction related traffic and parking shall be submitted concurrent with an application
for Architectural /Site Plan Review or building permit. The plan must address the following:

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Architectural Review and Planning
Board of the Town of Gulf Stream will hold a Public Hearing on June
21, 2001, at 8:30 A.M., in the Commission Chambers of the Town Hall,
100 Sea Road, Gulf Stream, Florida, at which the following will be
considered:
An application submitted by Bridges, Marsh & Associates, as agent
for Mr.. & Mrs. Barrant Merrill owners of the property located at 3525
Polo Drive, Gulf Stream, Florida, which is legally described as Lot 8,
Block 2,Plat 1, Polo Fields According to the Plat Thereof, Recorded in
Plat Book 26, Page 13, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida, for a LEVEL 2 ARCHITECTURAL /SITE PLAN REVIEW to permit the
addition of a 381 sq. ft. bedroom and bath at the NE corner of the
existing Bermuda style residence.
The Architectural Review and Planning Board shall make a final
decision regarding the subject application at the meeting noticed
above. This meeting may be adjourned from time to time and place to
place as maybe necessary to hear all parties and evidence.
The complete application materials are on file in the Office of
the Town Clerk located at 100 Sea Road, Gulf Stream, Florida 33483,
and may be reviewed' during regular business hours, which generally
include non - holiday weekdays from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
ALL PARTIES INTERESTED IN THESE MATTERS may appear before the
Architectural Review and Planning Board of the Town of Gulf Stream at
the times and place aforesaid and be heard.
SHOULD ANY INTERESTED PARTY SEEK TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW AND PLANNING BOARD WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER
