A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE WATER WELL NO. 11, REHABILITATION PROJECT; PROJECT NUMBER
4011.67.922 AS BEING COMPLETE; AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS/CITY ENGINEER TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2013, the City Council of the City of Lynwood awarded
the Water Well No. 11 Rehabilitation Project contract to Best Drilling and Pump, Inc., in
the amount of$140,719; and
WHEREAS, the project started on November 5, 2012 and was completed on
June 26, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the project was funded by the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $98,455; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on June 26, 2013,
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND
LHA BOARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Water

Well No. 11 Rehabilitation Project, Project No. 4011.67.992, as complete in
accordance with contract documents and authorizes the Director of Public Works/City
Engineer to record the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 2013.
