CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 10, 1977
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana
2 met in regular session February 10, 1977 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in
3 the Municipal Building of said City. Mr. Meredith presided with Mr.
4 Anderson and Mr. Webb present. The following business was had, to-wit:

6 Mr. Webb moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded
7 8 by Mr. Anderson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
9 Mayor Dickman announced that in view of the forecast for the tempera-
ture for the next several days , he feels the restrictions that were
11 asked of people on cutting back thermostats and business hours and
12 other energy savings can now be relaxed. He wishes to thank the people
13 for their cooperation. Those who wish to turn thermostats up and
14 increase their business hours should go ahead.

16 Transportation Director Jerry Haynes stated the surface condition of
17 the streets is bad as there are a large number of holes. The drainage
18 situation is going to be a problem, also. His Department is working
19 on clearing drains and temporarily filling chuck holes.

21 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and
22 passed the meeting was adjourned.
