CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 3, 1977
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
2 Indiana, met in regular session February 3, 1977 at the hour
3 of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal Building of said City. Mr.
4 Meredith presided with Mr. Anderson and Mr. Webb present.
5 The following business was had,- to-wit:

7 Mr. Webb moved to approve the minutes of the previous meet-
8 ing, seconded by Mr. Anderson and on unanimous voice vote the
9 motion was carried.

11 Mr. Meredith welcomed Mr. Anderson as a member of the Board
12 of Public Works.

14 Mr. Anderson moved to approve the Bureau of Buildings report
15 for January, 1977, seconded by- Mr. Webb and on unanimous voice
16 vote the motion was carried.

18 Mr. Meredith commented on the energy crisis in the City. The
19 Board of Works and City of Richmond are doing what they can.
20 The Park Department is closing all of their buildings that
21 are normally used for meetings and winterizing those buildings.
22 Their office building will remain open and protection of the
23 animals will continue. All fire houses have cut their heat
24 back and all city buildings have their heat turned back in an
25 effort to conserve. The Police garage has been moved to the
26. Department of Transportation and the garage has been closed
27 off.

29 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded
30 and passed the meeting was adjourned.
