SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDI:ANA, DECEMBER 31 , 1976
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
2 Indiana, met in special session December 31 , 1976 at the hour
3 of 12:00 noon in the Municipal Building of said City. Mr.
4 Reinke presided with. Mr. Meredith present. Mr. Webb was out
5 of town. The following business was had, to-wit;

7 Mr. Reinke reported that the City received deeds for both
8 halves of the real estate at 33-35 North 10th Street on
9 December 30, 1976 which was earlier than expected. He also
10 reported that Mr. Charles Roberts , Building Commissioner, has
11 previously solicited bids for the demolition of the structure
12 on that real estate and has reported that the best and lowest
13 bid is less than $3000.00; therefore, we do not have to
14 advertise. The best and lowest bid is for $2300.00 with
15 DeLucio & Son .

17 Mr. Meredith reported that, if we enter into the contract this
18 year, the cost can be paid out of monies budgeted and unspent
19 for the year 1976; and, therefore, this contract should be
20 made in the calendar year 1976.

22 Mr. Meredith moved to enter into a contract with DeLucio &. Son
23 for demolition of the structure at 33-35 North 10th Street for
24 the sum of $2300.00, seconded by Mr. Reinke and on unanimous
25 voice vote the motion was carried.

27 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded
28 and passed the meeting was adjourned.
