1 . The meeting was called to order by the chairman at 10 : 00 AM via
Zoom
2 . Minutes of the previous meeting were approved
3 . Members of the committee had conducted a tour of the Spruce Hill
House and Barn along with the Building Inspector and the Head of
the Town Maintenance Department . The building appeared

structurally sound but requires significant maintenance to avoid
further serious deterioration . The questions remained of what

source of funding would be available and the need to find
contractors to do the work. It was suggested to contact the town
Building committee for assistance . The proposal by the Town to
purchase the Cape Cod Sea Camp Properties which are adjacent to
Spruce Hill may end up including it in the discussions . '
4 . The CPC referred the proposal regarding funding of $ 73 ; 400 to repair
the Crosby Mansion to this Committee . A presentation was made by
Brian Locke of the Friends of the Crosby Mansion regarding the
repairs needed . A discussion ensued with Eric Dray making
comments regarding the proposal . It was decided to exclude from
the request $ 5000 for new carpet and $ 1000 for new ceiling tiles as
not proper for historical funding . A motion was made and seconded
to recommend to the CPC that that funding should be approved for a
total of $ 67 , 400 .
5 . Faythe updated on the continuation of the form B project and
george was to contact Eric Dray regarding his interest in the project .
6 . A presentation to the HDC was to be scheduled by the Chairman .
7 . Patricia agreed to determine when the public hearing is ' planned by
the building department
8 . The Historic Preservation Award was discussed with Ned Chatelain ,
the selectman overseeing the BHC and a copy was to be sent to him
of the proposed award .
9 . There was a discussion of the proposed focus group meeting on
major issues of the 5 year plan .
10 . The next meeting was schedules for September 23 , 2021 at 10 : 00

11 . There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at
11 : 00 AM
