OF APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Architectural Review and
Planning Board of the Town of Gulf Stream will hold a Public
Hearing on JULY 27, 2006 at 8:30 A.M. (originally scheduled to be
held on June 22, 2006), and the Town Commission will hold a Public
Hearing on AUGUST 11, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. (originally scheduled to
be held on July 14,2006), both in the Commission Chambers of the
Town Hall, 100 Sea Road, Gulf Stream, Florida, at which the
following will be considered:
An application submitted by Malcolm J. Murphy, agent for,
Malcolm J. and Julie Murphy, owners of the property located
at 815 Tangerine Way, Gulf Stream, Florida, legally described
as Lot 14, Place Au Soleil Subdivision in Gulf Stream,
Florida, for the following:
1. SPECIAL EXCEPTION to permit the extension of an existing non-
conforming wall that encroaches 4.8 feet into the required 15
foot west side building setback to construct a single car
garage and connecting hallway to existing dwelling.
2. LEVEL 3 ARCHITECTURAL /SITE PLAN REVIEW to permit construction
of a single car garage and hallway connection to existing
dwelling and to install a gated driveway from the garage to
connect to Tangerine Way.
The Architectural Review and Planning Board shall make a
recommendation to the Town Commission, and the Town Commission
shall make a final decision regarding the subject application at
the meetings noticed above. These meetings may be adjourned from
time to time and place to place as may be necessary to hear all
parties and evidence.
The complete application materials are on file in the Office
of the Town Clerk located at 100 Sea Road, Gulf Stream, Florida
33483, and may be reviewed during regular business hours, which
generally include non - holiday weekdays from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
ALL PARTIES INTERESTED IN THESE MATTERS may appear before the
Architectural Review and Planning Board and the Town Commission of
the Town of Gulf Stream at the times and place aforesaid and be
heard. Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with
Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to
participate in this meeting, because of disability or impairment,
should contact the Town Clerk, 561- 276 -5116, at least five (5)
days prior to the hearing in order for the Town to reasonably
accommodate the request.
SHOULD ANY INTERESTED PARTY SEEK TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY
THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW AND PLANNING BOARD OR THE TOWN COMMISSION
WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THESE PUBLIC HEARINGS,

This is to confirm that at the Public Hearing held by the Town Commission on August
11, 2006, your application for a Special Exception and a Level 3 Architectural Site/Plan
Review to permit the extension of an existing nonconforming wall that encroaches 4.8'
into the required 15 foot west side building setback to construct a single car garage and
connecting hallway to existing dwelling, and to install a gated driveway from the garage
to connect to Tangerine Way at the above address was considered.
Your application was approved as presented with the condition that the shed on the
property be removed prior to the issuance of a building permit.
If a building permit including aforementioned improvements is not applied for by August
11, 2007, these approvals will expire.
