BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND , INDIANA, August 19 , 1975
1 The Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Richmond,
2 Indiana, met in special session August 19 , 1975 at the hour
3 of 9 : 15 a .m. in the Board of Works Room in the Municipal
4 Building in said City . Mr . Judge presided with Mr . Willis
5 present . Mr . Burton was absent . The following business
6 was had to-wit :

8 The purpose of this special meeting was to receive bids
9 for Community Development Projects No . 1-75-9-5 , 1-75-10-5
10 and 1-75-11-5 .

12 Bids were received from the following : Project No . 1-75-9-5 .
13 George E . Russell in the amount of $28 , 625 . 00 and Bertram
14 Construction, Inc . in the amount of $21 , 652 . 80 .

16 Project No . 1-75-10-5 from George E . Russell in the amount
17 of $62 , 309 . 00 , Jul Gerken, Inc . $34 , 658 . 24 , Bertram Construction
18 Co . Inc . $45 , 949 . 14 and Edward Smarrelli $47 , 016 . 74 .

20 Project No . 1-75-11-5 from Bertram Construction Co . in the
21 amount of $22 , 356 . 58 and George E . Russell in the amount of
22 $32 , 004 . 00 .

24 Mr . Judge moved to award bid for Project No . 1-75-9-5 to
25 Bertram Construction, Inc . in the amount of $21 , 652 . 80 ,
26 seconded by Mr . Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion
27 was carried .

29 Mr . Willis moved to award bid for Project No . 1-75-10-5
30 to Jul Gerken Inc . in the amount of $34 , 658 . 24 , seconded by
31 Mr . Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried .

33 Mr . Judge moved to award bid for Project No . 1-75-11-5 to
34 Bertram Construction Co . in the amount of $22 , 356 . 58 ,
35 seconded by Mr . Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion
36 was carried .

38 There being no further business on motion duly made , seconded
39 and passed , the meeting was adjourned .
