CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JULY 17, 1975
1 The Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
2 met in regular session July 17, 1975 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the
3 Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Burton presided with Mr. Judge
4 and Mr. Willis present. The following business was had to-wit:

6 Mr. Burton moved to submitan ordinance to Council transferring $600.00
7 in the Fire Department budget, seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice
8 vote the motion was carried.

10 Mr. Judge moved to submit an ordinance to Council appropriating $12,000.00
11 from the General Fund to the Fire Dept. budget, $5,500.00; to the Board
12 of Public Works and Safety budget, $3,000.00 and to the Controller's
13 budget, $3,500.00, seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote
14 the motion was carried.

16 Mr. Willis moved to sign a contract with Butler, .Fairman and Seufert
17 for traffic signals at North 20th & "E" Streets, seconded by Mr. Judge
18 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

20 Mr. Judge announced that an ordinance will be submitted to Council
21 appropriating $40,000.00 from the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund
22 to subsidize the Rose City Bus Lines.

24 Mr. Burton moved to advertise for bids to be received for the Construction
25 and or reconstruction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks and appurtenances to
26 the_ same in the Kinsey, Fairview and Holsapple Community Development Areas.,
27 On July 31 , 1975 at 9:15 a.m. ; "seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice
28 vote the motion was carried.

30 Mr. Burton moved to award contract for removal of pavement on N.W. 5th Street
31 to Cain's Lakes Gravel Co. in the amount of $15,400.00, seconded by Mr.
32 . Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

34 Mayor Charles A. Howell stated an ordinance will be submitted to Council
35 appropriating $23,500.00 from the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund for
36 salaries and clothing allowance for the Fire Department.

38 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed,
39 the meeting was adjourned.
