BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND , INDIANA, MARCH 6 , 1975
1 The Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Richmond,
2 Indiana, met in special session March 6 , 1975 at the hour
3 of 2 : 00 p .m. in the Board of Works Room in the Municipal
4 Building in said City . Mr . Burton presided with Mr . Judge
5 and Mr . Willis present . The following business was had to-wit :

7 The purpose of this special meeting was to receive bids for
8 Elevators and Reinforcing Steel for the Parking Garage .

10 Mr . Burton , City Attorney, examined proof of publication and
11 found it to be in order .

13 Mr . Burton moved to accept and file proof of publication,
14 seconded by Mr . Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion
15 was carried .

17 Bids for Elevators were received from the following : Dover
18 Elevator Co . $39 , 868 . 00 , Montgomery Elevator Co . $41 , 940 . 00
19 Otis Elevator Co . $40 ,473 and White-Evans Elevator Co . $45 , 663 . 00 .

21 Bids for Reinforcing Steel were received from the following :
22 Hugh J . Baker Co . $13 , 368 . 00 , Mote Construction Co . $11 , 281 . 45 ,
23 Ceco Corp . $12 , 745 . 00 and Kutter Construction Co . $11 , 290 . 00 .

25 Mr . Burton moved to award bid for Elevators to Dover Elevator
26 Co . in the amount of $39 , 868 . 00 , seconded by Mr . Judge and
27 on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried .

29 Mr . Judge moved to award bid for Reinforcing Steel to Kutter
30 Construction Co . in the amount of $11 , 290 . 00 , seconded by
31 Mr . Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried .

33 There being no further business on motion duly made , seconded
34 and passed , the meeting was adjourned .
