SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JANUARY 2, 1975
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
2 met in special session January 2, 1975 at the hour of 10:30 a.m. in
3 the Municipal Building in said City for the purpose of awarding contract
4 for a new Multi-Level Parking Garage. Mr. Burton presided with Mr. Willis
5 and Mr. Judge present. The following business was had to-wit:

7 John E. Simons, Architect, presented his analysis of the bids for the
8 Precast Concrete Structural System for the new Multi-Level Parking
9 Garage.

11 Mr. Burton moved to accept the recommendation of John E. Simons, Archi-
12 tect, and award contract for the multi-level parking garage to Yost
13 Companies , Inc. , in the amount of $332,208.00 for the base bid and
14 $127,424.00 for Alternate No. 1 for a total of $459,632.00, seconded by
15 Mr. Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

17 Mr. Burton moved upon recommendation of John Simons to hold under
18 continued study, alternate. No. 2 and No. 3, seconded by Mr. Willis
19 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

21 Mr. Burton moved to authorize execution of the contract for construction
22 of the multi-level parking garage, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unani-
23 mous voice vote the motion was carried.

25 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed,
26 the meeting was adjourned.
