Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, Patricia Busch , George Carey ( Alternate ) , Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant ) , Tom Turcketta was absent . H -8- 21-222 Carol Marcy and Marin Goldstein, 108 Susan Lane, Map 47 Lot 36 Roof Mounted Solar Panels and Roof ■ Homeowners , Carol Marcy and Marin Goldstein were present at the meeting . ■ Carol Appleton abstained . ■ Weatherwood asphalt shingles will be installed on the front of the home and on the outbuilding . ■ Weatherwood asphalt shingles will be used where solar panels will be placed on the rear of the dwelling . ■ When roof on rear of buildings is to be replaced , Weatherwood asphalt shingles will be used . ■ Solar panels and framework are black on black . ■ George Carey moved to accept as amended to change the front of the home and outbuilding roof to Weatherwood asphalt shingles and when the remainder of the home and outbuilding are re - roofed , they will be done in Weatherwood asphalt shingles . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ Steven Bergquist denied . ■ Vote 3 - 1 - 1 S- 8-21- 217 66 Harwich Road LLC, 66 Harwich Road , Map 57 Lot 32 Sign ■ Marilyn Dearborn was present and discussed the proposed sign with the committee . ■ Carol Appleton abstained . ■ A-frame sign will be 36X20 in size . ■ Lettering is white, background is black . ■ Sign will be wooden and taken in at the end of the day when shop is closed ■ Steve Bergquist moved to accept as amended . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor . 1 Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of August 23, 2021 Meeting SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS ' ' 2T H -& 21-225 Lisa Mincieli, 271 Bog Pond Road , Map 67 Lot 104 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Abe Boyle of My Generation Energy represented the homeowner. ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted that the house is not visible . ■ Committee agreed that the solar panels will have minimal visual impact on the surrounding area . ■ Carol moved to accept as presented . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -8- 21 -226 Robert and Mary Bersani, 663 Long Pond Road, Map 75 Lot 6 Shed ( 14x18 ) ■ Homeowners, Robert and Mary Bersani were present at the meeting . ■ Shed will be custom built to match the existing dwelling on the property . ■ Ramp will be made from wood or composite material . ■ Patricia Busch moved to accept as presented . H -&21-227 Latham Centers, Inc . , 1646 Main Street, Map 56 Lot 69 Fence ■ Anne McManus, President and CEO along with Brian Benevides, Director of Facilities of Latham Centers, Inc . were present at the meeting . ■ Ms . McManus discussed the project with the committee . ■ Patricia Busch moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H -& 21-228 Dianna Barbosa, 49 Cummings Road, Map 84 Lot 50 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Eric Barber of Roof Top Power represented the homeowner . ■ Abutter letter from Barry Hutchinson was read into record by Sara Provos . ■ Solar panels will have minimal visual impact on the surrounding area . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -8- 21-231 George and Gabrielle Jathas, 23 Dune Road, Map 79 Lot 30 Addition ■ Johanna Reed , Project Architect of Jill Neubauer Architects represented the homeowners . • Ian Warner, Landscape Architect of Bernice Wahler Landscapes was also present . ■ Ms . Reed discussed the project with the committee . ■ Revised plan A203 to be updated with corrected elevations and provided to the Building Department . ■ Windows will have stud pockets and sills . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. W & 21-233 Eric Olkkola , 105 Stony Brook Road, Map 6 Lot 26 Siding (Amendment) ■ Homeowner, Eric Olkkola was present at the meeting . ■ Siding on house will be hardy board in a smooth finish . ■ Siding will be white . ■ Siding will have 4" exposure . ■ Updated drawing showing the clapboard / hardy board will be provided to the Building Department . ■ Patricia Busch moved to accept as amended .
