Habib checked his information which shows that cable and telephone need to be undergrounded. Please check on this as soon as possible and let us know if the data used in the calculations needs to be corrected. Needs to be done today or tomorrow. If the Project proceeds, the cost will be funded by assessments against certain real property within the Town that will be specially benefited by the Project and will be billed on the annual property tax bill. The assessment for each parcel of real property is based on the benefit that it will receive as a result of the Project. The assessments will be collected on the annual property tax bill for not less than 10 years nor more than 20 years depending upon the project financing obtained by the Town. Both the Utility Undergrounding Project non -ad valorem assessment amount shown on the reverse side of this notice and the ad valorem taxes for the parcel will be collected on the ad valorem property tax bill mailed in November of each year that the assessment is imposed. Failure to pay the assessments will cause a tax certificate to be issued against the property which may result in a loss of title. A more specific description of the assessment program is included in Resolution No. 011/2 adopted by the Commission on May 13, 2011.
