Susan/Bill,
Attached is the latest form of the Underground Conversion Agreement as received at Jupiter Inlet Colony this past month.
It is Revision No. 8, Effective April 6, 2010. The one on the FPL website is revision 7 and is out of date. As you will notice,
the GAF credits require that the converted area include a minimum of 200 homes or 3 miles of overhead power lines.
Exceptions also exist for smaller areas such as the conversion of an entire municipality or an entire island, etc. The GAF
credit is 25% of the otherwise due Contribution in Aid of Construction.
There is no requirement that the entire town limits be included in the Conversion Area.
The prior form had the language as follows:
“This agreement, which is available to customers that sign the agreement on or before October 30, 2010, and is made
and entered into this _________ day of ______________, 20__ by and between __________________ ”
The following is the current language:
“This agreement is made and entered into this _________ day of ______________, 20__ by and between
__________________”
