CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, DECEMBER 12, 1974
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
2 in regular session December 12, 1974, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the
3 Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Willis present.
4 Mr. Burton was absent. The following business was had to-wit:

6 Mr. Willis moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded
III 7 by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

9 Mayor Byron E. Klute presented the Distinguished Service Award to Tony„
10 Laughlin for his outstanding service on the Wayne County Health Board.

12 Ray Gauthier and Tom Atkinson were present for the presentation repre-
13 senting the Health Department.

15 Mr. Judge on behalf of the Board congratulated Mr. Laughlin.

17 Charles A. Howell , Administrative Assistant, presented the following
18 report:

44 The amount received over appraisal was $5050.00 on 14 cars sold.

46 Three other cars were appraised, however, because of a 1974 police
47 car being wrecked and totaled. We put one 1973 Plymouth back
48 into service. The Controller was given one 1973 Plymouth and
49 his 1971 Plymouth was sold.

51 We still have on hand a 1968 Ford Station Wagon that will be
52 offered for sale at public auction on December 19, 1974.

57 Mr. Judge moved to sign addendum to Owner-Architect Agreement dated
58 October 4, 1974, agreeing to pay J.E. Simons , AIA Architect, additional
59 professional fee of $19,600.00 for additional services to be in
60 accordance with Article 5 in connection with Multi-level Parking Faci-
61 lity, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion was
62 carried.

64 Mr. Judge moved to prepare resolution for Council to transfer $1 ,762.00
65 in the Board of Works budget, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous
66 voice vote the motion was carried. '

1 Mr. Judge moved to prepare an ordinance for Council to transfer
2 $18,625.00 in the Board of Works budget, seconded by Mr. Willis and
3 on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

5 Mr. Judge moved to prepare an ordinance for Council to transfer $72.62
6 in the City Engineer's Budget, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous
7 voice vote the motion was carried.

9 Mr. Judge moved to prepare an ordinance for Council to transfer
10 $1326.25 in the Motor Vehicle Highway Budget, seconded by Mr. Willis
11 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

13 Mr. Judge moved to prepare an Ordinance;to transfer $1 ,820.00 in
14 the Motor Vehicle Highway Budget, seconded by Mr. Willis and unani-
15 mous voice vote the motion was carried.

17 Mr. Judge announced for general information the Airport Commissioners
18 requested a resolution to be presented to Council for transfer of
19 $437.32 and an ordinance to transfer $908.36 in their budget.

21 Mr. Judge announced for general information the Park Department requested
22 an ordinance be prepared for Council to transfer $2,626.00 in the Park
23 Department Budget.

25 Mr. Judge moved to prepare an ordinance for Council to transfer $455.34
26 in the City Court budget, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous voice
27 vote the motion was carried.

29 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed,
30 the meeting was adjourned.
