CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, OCTOBER 31 , 1974
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
2 met in regular session October 31 , 1974 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in
3 the Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Burton
4 present. Mr. Willis was absent. The following business was had to-wit:

6 Mr. Burton moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded
III7 by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

9 James E. Hayes, 524 South 10th Street appeared before the Board with a
10 complaint against the Police Department.

12 Mr. Hayes' complaint was referred to the Chief of Police, Lewis E. Doren.

14 Mr. Judge moved to submit an Ordinance to Council appropriating $2,380.00
15 in the Street Department Budget for parts to repair equipment, seconded
16 by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

18 Mr. Judge moved to send an Ordinance to Council transferring $4,000.00
19 in the Police Department Budget for Gasoline, seconded by Mr. Burton
20 and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

22 Mr. Judge moved to send a Resolution to Council transferring $830.00 in
23 the Police Department Budget, seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous
24 voice vote the motion was carried.

26 Mr. Burton moved to execute an agreement for purchase of property in
27 the Whitewater Valley and to present the agreement to the owner Chilco
28 Manufacturing Co. Inc. , seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice
29 vote the motion was carried.

31 There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded an passed,
32 the meeting was adjourned.
