CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, MAY 30, 1974
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session May 30, 1974, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the
Municipal Building in said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Burton
and Mr. Willis present. The following business was had to-wit:
Mr. Judge moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting,
seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion was
carried.
Mr. Judge moved to present to Council Monday night an ordinance
appropriating $30,500.00 from Federal Revenue Sharing for salaries
and Street Department information signs, seconded by Mr. Burton and
on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Building Commissioner, Claude E. Goins reported to the Board that
Robert Marshall has not complied with the Board's order to obtain a
building permit and repair dwelling he owns located at 508 South 10th
Street to meet the code. -
Mr. Judge moved to request Mr. Marshall to appear Thursday, June 6,
1974 at 9:00 a.m. to show cause why the order of condemnation for
the dwelling located at 508 South 10th Street should not be carried
out, seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion
was carried.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and pas-
sed, the meeting was adjourned.
