BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 21 , 1974
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session February 21 , 1974, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Muni-
ciapl Building in said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Burton and Mr. Willis
present. The following business was had to-wit:
Mr. Willis moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded
by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Mr. Willis moved to approve request for a curb cut at 75 N.W. "E" Street,
seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Mr. Willis moved to approve request fora curb cut at 1851 S.W. "A" Street,
seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Mr. Burton moved to deny request for a curb cut at 1117 South "E" Street,
seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
No bids were received for tree removal .
Mr. Judge moved to approve September 15, 1974, for Quinn Masonic Lodge parade
stipulating details should be worked out with the Traffic Division, seconded
by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Traffic Captain Scott Loper presented a survey of the Indiana State Highway
Dept. on permissable right turns recommended at intersections having signals
under a new state law.
Mr. Judge moved to take the survey under advisement, seconded by Mr. Burton
and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Mr. Charles Howell , Administrative Assistant, reported the two new lime-
yellow color Fire Department cars will soon be in service.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed,
the meeting was adjourned.
