SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 16, 1973
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in special session November 16, 1973, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Muni-
cipal Building of said City. Mr. Willis was present. Mr. Judge & Mr. Burton
were attending a Sanitary Bond issue meeting at Indianapolis. The following
business was had to-wit:
Proof of publication was found to be in order and will be properly filed,
' for parking lot construction.
One bid was received for construction of parking lot on South 6th Street
and 7th Street from A & B Excavating in the amount of $20,734.00.
Proof of publication was found to be in order and will be properly filed
for Communication system for City Depts. and Fire Dept.
One bid was received from Motorola in the amount of $10,000.00 for City
Departments.
One bid was received from Motorola for Fire Dept. Communication System in
the amount of $9,000.00.
All bids were taken under advisement.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed,
the meeting was adjourned.

CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 19, 1973
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in special session November 19, 1973, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the
Municipal Building of said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Burton and
Mr. Willis present. The following business was had to-wit:
Mr. Burton moved to award contract to A & D Excavating for construction
of parking lot on South 6th and South 7th Street in the amount of $20,734.00,
seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed
the meeting was adjourned.
