HomeMy Public PortalAbout07-05-1973 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JULY 5, 1973 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session July 5, 1973 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal Building of said City. Mr. Burton presided with Mr. Willis present. Mr. Judge was absent. The following business was had to-wit: Mr. Willis moved to accept bids for the repair of the 20th Century Bridge North 4th and "D" Streets, Project #10, at 9:15 a.m. on July 19, 1973 seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Mr. Burton moved to approve a curb cut request from Mr. Ray Zaleski at South 8th Street north of the Medical Arts Building according to the plans submitted, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Mr. Burton moved to approve the request of Police Chief Doren to send Detec- tive Sergeant Jack Myers and Officers Joel Moffet and Robert Nickoli to Fire Arms Training session from July 8 to July 12 at Indiana Law Enforcement Academy at Bloomington, Indiana, seconded by Mr. Willis and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
