HomeMy Public PortalAbout06-21-1973 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JUNE 21 , 1973 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session June 21 , 1973 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal Building of said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Willis and Mr. Burton present. The following business was had to-wit: Mr. Willis moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Mr. Don McBride, Park Superintendant, appeared before the Board requesting per- mission to grant special police powers on the Mall to Charlie Kerns. Mr. Judge moved to take the request to grant special police powers on the Mall under advisement,seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Mr. Burton moved to deny illegal curb cuts at the Burger Chef, 2250 Chester Blvd. and instruct them to replace the curb, seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Mr. Burton moved to approve Declaratory Resolution for widening the street corner at South 4th and South "E" Street and to accept and record the Quit Claim Deed for said property owned by Thomas Bradshaw and Martha Bradshaw, husband and wife, seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. Mr. Willis moved to take out the fire hydrant on the corner of South 4th and South "E" Street upon the recommendation of Fire Chief William Berry, seconded by Mr. Burton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
