CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JANUARY 12, 1973
SPECIAL MEETING
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in special session January 12, 1973 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal
Building of said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Benner and Miss Wynegar
present. The following business was had to-wit:
Mr. Roger Cornett, Plant Manager and Mr. Curtis Gilmore, Planning & Engineering
Dept. appeared before the Board to ask permission for Belden Mfg. Corp. to
install three (3) 1 ,000 gallon LP gas tanks.
The reason for this request is the cut back of natural gas supplied to them.
They plan to use this as a stand-by unit.
Claude E. Goins , Building Commissioner reported that he and Fire Marshall
Claude Loudy inspected the installation site and found they meet the requirements
of state and local codes.
Fire Marshall , Claude Loudy, said this temporary installation will be permitted
through June 1 , 1973. If the need extends beyond that date he should be
consulted.
Mr. Benner moved to approve the request for Belden Mfg. Corp. to install three
(3) 1 ,000 gallon LP gas tanks provided they continue to meet all state and
local codes , seconded by Miss Wynegar and on unanimous voice vote the motion
was carried.
There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the
meeting was adjourned.
