HomeMy Public PortalAbout12-29-1972 - Special Meeting (2) BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, DECEMBER 29, 1972 SPECIAL MEETING The Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in special session December 29, 1972 at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal Building of said City. Mr. Judge presided with Mr. Benner and Miss Wynegar present. The following business was had to-wit: The purpose of this meeting is to consider bids for fifteen (15) police cars . Mr. Benner moved to accept the low bid of Raper Plymouth, Inc. , seconded by Miss Wynegar and on unanimous voice vote motion was passed. Mr. Benner moved to. prepare an ordinance for the next Council meeting in the amount of $53,100.00 from the Cumulative Capital Improvement "Building" Fund to purchase fifteen (15) cars for the Police Department of the City of Richmond, seconded by Mr. Judge and on unanimous voice vote the motion was passed. Mr. Judge moved to accept the contract with Rogers, Bird Exterminating Company in the amount of $250.00 for treating the bridge at 9th and North "E" St, U.S. 27 North , seconded by Mr. Benner and on unanimous voice vote the motion was passed.
