BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, DECEMBER 1 , 1972
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in a
special session on December 1 , 1972 at 2:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building of
said City. Mr. Judge presided with Miss Wynegar and Mr. Benner present. The
following business was .had to-wit:
Miss Wynegar motioned to accept a change order in contract for the No. 5 Fire
Station with Kutter Construction Company in the amount of an additional $100.00
to add wood panel bulkhead above the kitchen cabinets . Mr. Judge seconded, and
on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
Chief of Police Don Strahan reported that the State Highway Commission may grant
permission for theCity of Richmond to install a stop light at National Road East
and the Elks Country Club Road. The light will be installed at the expense of
the City and maintained by the State Highway Commission.
Mr. Benner motioned that a letter be written to the State Highway Commission
requesting permission to install a traffic light at the Elks Country Club Road
and National Road East. Seconded by Mr. Judge, and on unanimous voice vote
the motion was carried.
There being no further business, on motion duly made, seconded and passed, the
meeting was adjourned.
